Leadership Update: CCC Board of Governors Nomination Results
Strong governance is the foundation of our organization’s continued growth and impact. We are pleased to announce the following updates to the CCC Board of Governors:
- Murray Papendorf, CPC, has been re-elected to serve a new four-year term, continuing his valuable contributions to the Commission. Murray recently completed a term from 2021-2024.
- Dr. Charles Berryman, CPC, has been re-appointed for another four-year term, further solidifying his long-standing leadership and dedication to the construction industry. Dr. Berryman also completed a term from 2021-2024.
These professionals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles. Under their leadership, we are confident that AIC will continue to lead the way in our professional certifications, exams, and adherence to industry standards.
Murray’s real-world industrial experience and Dr. Berryman’s leadership in Construction Management at Louisiana State University (LSU) will ensure that we remain committed to advancing constructor excellence through certifications and education.

The AIC College of Fellows celebrates constructors who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the field and support our mission of professional growth, ethics, and education throughout their careers.
These individuals exemplify the highest standards of constructors and inspire the next generation of industry leaders. We are thrilled to welcome the following professional constructors to the AIC College of Fellows fraternity.
Ted Chamberlain, CPC
Ted Chamberlain currently serves on our Inter-Industry Relations Committee and has spent time serving on the AIC Board of Directors. As a Certified Professional Constructor, Ted is a distinguished leader in the construction field as a Project Director for Sundt Construction.
With 25+ years of industry experience, Ted has supported a wide variety of projects, including roads, highways, buildings, water/wastewater, rail, airports, mines, broadband infrastructure, and other mission-critical projects. He is experienced with traditional design-bid-build, construction manager at risk (CMAR), job order contracts, and design-build projects.
Ted’s industry experience and commitment to ethical dealings in major development projects made him a clear choice to join the AIC College of Fellows.
Hugh E. Cronin, CPC
Hugh Cronin, founder of Cronin Construction Management and a key member of the AIC Board of Directors, has spent his career dedicated to delivering exceptional results in the construction industry. Since launching his firm in 2014, Hugh has focused on serving as an owner’s advocate for project stakeholders.
Initially serving higher education capital projects, Hugh quickly expanded his company’s reach to include healthcare, multi-family, hospitality, and commercial sectors. His ability to solve complex challenges has been the cornerstone of his success, a skill honed during his 20+ years in the Army Corps of Engineers.
Hugh’s leadership and passion for tackling complex issues have shaped his company and the industry. This nomination for the AIC College of Fellows is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence in construction management.
Easy Foster, CPC
Easy Foster, the Executive Director of Planning & Construction at Conroe Independent School District (CISD) and an AIC Board Member, is a distinguished leader for construction projects in the educational sector.
Easy’s involvement in AIC includes serving as Chair of the Ethics Committee and participating in the Collegiate Ethics competition, capturing his passion for ethics and formal education. His commitment to promoting ethical practices for future construction managers has earned him recognition as a distinguished industry leader.
Easy entered the construction industry in 1998, starting on the ground level as a Field Engineer before working up to Director of Planning and Construction. He has completed over $1 billion in projects across Texas, including schools, offices, warehouses, hospitality venues, medical facilities, and residential developments.
Easy’s experience with complex capital projects and high-profile owners has given him a unique perspective on the construction industry, making him a valuable addition to the AIC College of Fellows.
Strengthening the Future of AIC
The re-elections of Murray Papendorf and Dr. Charles Berryman to the CCC Board of Governors and the introduction of Ted Chamberlain, Hugh Cronin, and Easy Foster to the AIC College of Fellows represent a key milestone in our organization.
